Sales Agent Opportunity

Territory: Newcastle & Tyneside

Black Middens Rum is a premium local spirit retailing at £38 per bottle, positioned in the mid-range craft spirits market. Our rum has a unique fruity taste and strong branding that taps into local heritage and pride.

We are expanding across the region, targeting independent pubs, bars, clubs, hotels, restaurants, as well as larger chains.

We are seeking a driven, well-connected commission-only sales representative to develop and grow on-trade distribution within the territory.

Commission Structure

£5 Per Bottle Sold
  • You sell the rum to venues at: £38 per bottle
  • Commission: £5 per bottle
  • Paid monthly on settled invoices

There are no percentage calculations or sliding scales. Every bottle sold earns £5. With growth and repeat orders, earnings scale directly with volume.

Quarterly Bonus
  • 25 cases sold (150 bottles) → £100
  • 50 cases sold (300 bottles) → £250
New Account Incentive

£100 bonus per new account. Min 6 bottle opening order.

Cocktail Menu Bonus

£150 bonus if Black Middens Rum becomes a cocktail menu ingredient.

All invoicing is managed centrally to ensure commission transparency and account protection.

Territory & Account Protection

This role includes exclusive rights to Newcastle & Tyneside accounts, subject to:

  • Active account development
  • Ongoing performance review
  • No direct supply into your secured accounts without commission recognition
Ideal Candidate
  • Existing relationships with pubs and cocktail bars in the North East
  • Experience selling premium spirits or drinks into trade
  • Comfortable opening new accounts
  • Self-motivated and organised
